In 2026, AAWP are introducing an online symposium series, as a bridge between our in-person annual conference, held at the end of November/early December, each year.
 
Throughout 2026 and 2027, we will host four themed symposiums, staggered across the calendar year, focusing issues of importance to the AAWP community.
 
These gatherings will be held fully online, offering opportunities for connectivity for those who may not be able to attend our annual conference, or are only able to do so sporadically.
 
The symposium series will be led by Dr Axel Nathaniel Rose (Access and Equity Portfolio Lead), in consultation with the Executive Committee of Management, as well as AAWP members and friends.
 
Further dates and details are forthcoming. We look forward to welcoming AAWP members and friends to these events, each of which will include scope for audience questions/participation.
